Put on Purple and Help Kids with Lupus

Hi,
I’m wearing purple today for my daughter, Emily.
Emily was diagnosed with lupus when she was just eight years old.
It’s hard to watch your own child live with the pain and fatigue of lupus. And even the treatments for lupus are difficult. Emily had to have seven rounds of chemotherapy.
This Put on Purple Day, you can help children like Emily with a donation to the Lupus Foundation of America. You will support the Michael Jon Barlin Pediatric Research Program. This innovative research program is committed to facilitating childhood lupus research.
And for today only, thanks to the Nazee and Joseph Moinian Foundation and another anonymous donor your gift will be matched up to $10,000.

Lupus in kids has traditionally been understudied. Lupus can impact growing bodies in different and devastating ways.
The Foundation is so dedicated to finding answers and giving hope to children with lupus and their families. We need to find answers.  Your gift can help us get them.
Your gift could save a child’s life.
Thanks for helping kids with lupus!
