Join S.L.E. Lupus Foundation:
Get Into the Loop and Learn About Lupus During Lupus Awareness Month
Lupus Awareness Month is offically underway! The push is on to be on the lookout for this disease. Too often, lupus is not considered by either patients or healthcare professionals. That’s why the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation asks young women, patients, providers and the general public to join our cause - to make sure lupus is recognized and to get people diagnosed and treated quickly and appropriately. Find out ways you can raise awareness here.

East side, West side, all around the town is where you'll find the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation today, getting New Yorkers into the loop for World Lupus Awareness Day.
The S.L.E. Lupus Foundation’s message will reach the 1.5 million passing one of the world’s largest billboards in the heart of Times Square at 43rd and 7th, the most-trafficked corner of the city. And inGrand Central Terminal, the cross-roads of the country, the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation staff and volunteers will host an all-day exhibit to get thousands of train-riders on-board.

Throughout the month, the S.L.E. Lupus Foundation is hosting many events online and in person to educate the public about this devastating disease that affects 1.5 million Americans, 90 percent of whom are women.
